Sabhung, Nepal
October 2012: A team of six engineers from the Hartford Professional Chapter completed the first assessment trip to Sabhung, Nepal. The purpose of the assessment trip was to determine the best way to implement a potable water supply project to meet the needs of the community. The engineers gathered as much data as possible by visiting existing water supply and storage facilities as well as meeting with and surveying the needs of community members. An estimated 2,400 people will be affected by this project.
