Depsite the rain the Hartford Botanical Garden project was a huge success! It was all made possible by those who donated their time, tools, and manpower. On Sunday, May 15th, we have 60 plants to put in the ground and a 35 foot walkway to install. The only way we can be successful is with your help!

Time: 8AM until the afternoon
We Need: You! And we need you to bring your tools as well. We need shovels and wheelbarrows and anything else helpful in planting larger plants
We will provide water during the day and lunch for everyone.

We would like to announce that EWB-USA has approved our application for the water supply system project in Sabhung, Nepal!
1) New International Project in Nepal
It is official! For our international project, we will be focusing on implementing a water supply system for a rural community in Sabhung, Nepal.

3) Yale Student Chapter Fundraiser - Saturday April 30th
The Yale Student Chapter is having a fundraiser next weekend aboard the Schooner Quinnipiac for their latrine system project in Kikoo, Cameroon. Tax deductible tickets are sold at $40 per person; RSVP by contacting ewbyale@gmail.com.
4) CT Invention Convention - Saturday May 14th
Although the actual event is still a couple of weeks away, registration for being a judge closes this Saturday April 30th. Please, if you are interested in being a judge, sign up for the event here: http://www.ctinventionconvention.org/Judge_Info.htm
The CT Invention Convention is an annual program that encourages students grades K-8 to research, analyze, and exhibit their creative inventions.
